Hamas imposes curfew in Gaza City after clan feud erupts into armed clashes
Extensive gunfire erupted between Hamas's Sahm Unit and members of the al-Kafarna clan on al-Nasr Street in Gaza City this afternoon. According to Gaza sources, the incident began when celebratory gunfire—fired after a father learned his son's medical tests showed no cancer—seriously wounded an 11-year-old girl and lightly injured two other children. A relative of the wounded responded by opening fire, triggering a clan feud. Hamas security forces intervened and imposed a curfew on the area while exchanging fire with Kafarna clan members.
