Wounded Israeli brigade commander vows to return to battlefield
Colonel Meir Biderman, commander of the 401st Brigade, sent a message to his soldiers from hospital after being seriously wounded by a Hezbollah drone strike last week. "I was taken from you suddenly last week, but know that I am okay, recovering and getting stronger," Biderman said. He told his troops that "injury is part of the life of a fighter who fights for the security of the country," adding that he is "already waiting to rejoin you on the battlefield."
