No progress in US-Iran negotiations as Trump sets conditions
President Trump outlined conditions for a US-Iran agreement, demanding Iran never possess nuclear weapons and immediately open the Strait of Hormuz without transit fees. Iranian Expediency Council member Mohsen Rezaee accused Trump of "betraying diplomacy for the third time" through continued blockade and excessive demands, calling him "unworthy of dialogue." Iranian Revolutionary Guard-affiliated Tasnim news agency reports the US naval blockade remains in effect, with Central Command issuing warnings to Iranian ships along the blockade line.
