Hezbollah Claims Rocket Strike on IDF Troops in Dibbine
The Hezbollah terror organization claimed responsibility on Monday for a rocket attack targeting Israeli military assets in southern Lebanon. In a statement released through its official media channels, the group claimed that its "Islamic Resistance" fighters targeted a concentration of Israeli military vehicles and soldiers on the outskirts of the southern Lebanese village of Dibbine (Dibbin). According to Hezbollah, the strike took place at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 1, 2026, and utilized a barrage of artillery rockets. The group claimed to have achieved "direct hits" on the Israeli forces. The claim follows recent reports of intense IDF operations in the Dibbine sector, located approximately 12 kilometers north of the border, where Israeli ground troops have been actively clearing Hezbollah infrastructure and eliminating remaining launch squads. The IDF has not issued a statement regarding Hezbollah's claims or any potential casualties resulting from the reported rocket fire.
