IDF eliminates Hezbollah's Head of Engineering Unit in southern Lebanon strike
The IDF eliminated Abed Harb, commander of Hezbollah's Engineering Unit, in a strike last week in southern Lebanon. Harb commanded the unit responsible for assembling and deploying explosives targeting IDF soldiers and was involved in attacks against Israeli forces from the 2006 Second Lebanon War to the present. Additionally, the Israeli Air Force struck and dismantled a rocket launcher Thursday night that Hezbollah terrorists used to fire rockets toward IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon.
