Lebanese PM Salam Accuses Iran of Using South Lebanon as Bargaining Chip
Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam called on Iran to stop treating southern Lebanon and its residents as a bargaining chip in negotiations. Salam stated that Lebanon reached a ceasefire agreement but was surprised to discover the Iranian Revolutionary Guards were the first to oppose it. He urged Iran to "have mercy on southern Lebanon" and its people.
