IDF uncovers extensive Hezbollah tunnel network beneath Beaufort Ridge

The IDF revealed an underground tunnel network built by Hezbollah beneath the Beaufort Ridge, planned and funded by Iran. Troops from the Golani Brigade, Maglan Unit, and Yahalom Unit discovered the network located six kilometers from Metula, designed to house hundreds of terrorists simultaneously. The complex includes multiple rooms with living quarters, water and electrical infrastructure, weapons storage, anti-tank missile launchers, and aerial defense capabilities. One tunnel, approximately one kilometer long, contained six underground shafts, advanced medical equipment, shower facilities, restrooms, an operating room, and kitchens. The site was used to launch UAVs, shoulder-fired missiles, and anti-tank missiles toward IDF troops and Israeli territory. The network was built near Lebanese Armed Forces activity, and Israel requested the LAF address the site, but Hezbollah prevented them from doing so.
