IDF eliminates two Islamic Jihad terrorists in southern Gaza strike
The IDF struck in southern Gaza on Monday, eliminating two Islamic Jihad terrorists who were planning imminent attacks against Israeli troops. Those killed were Iyad Muhammad Abd al-Aziz Nofal, a Nukhba commander in Islamic Jihad, and Ahmad Abd al-Hamid Hamad Ma'arouf, head of a terrorist cell who carried out rocket attacks against Israel throughout the war. The IDF says precise munitions and aerial surveillance were used to mitigate civilian harm. IDF forces remain deployed in the area under the ceasefire agreement and will continue operating to remove immediate threats.
