U.S. Central Command details targets struck in Iran's Hormuz region
U.S. Central Command published a statement detailing targets struck in the Hormuz area in response to the Apache helicopter downing. The strikes, which occurred around 1 AM Israel time, targeted Iranian air defense systems, ground control stations operating UAVs, and radar sites. Following the U.S. strikes, Iran carried out a response, with the Iranians firing last in the exchange.
