Iranian media reports 14-article draft agreement with US includes sanctions relief and troop withdrawal
Iran's Mehr News Agency published details of an alleged draft memorandum of understanding with the United States, citing sources close to the Iranian negotiating team. The reported 14-article agreement includes: immediate ceasefire in all arenas including Lebanon; US commitment to withdraw forces from areas adjacent to Iran; complete lifting of naval blockade within 30 days; reopening of Strait of Hormuz within 30 days; suspension of sanctions on oil and petrochemical sales with full access to Iranian financial resources; US and allies to present reconstruction plans worth at least $300 billion; and 60 days of negotiations on nuclear issues and complete lifting of US sanctions.
