Senator Graham opposes reported Iran deal, calls for Congressional review
Senator Lindsey Graham criticized the reported US-Iran agreement details, calling a potential $300 billion reconstruction fund "detached from reality" and comparing it to "the Marshall Plan for Germany while the Nazis are still in power." Graham stated President Trump's red line "was and remains – zero enrichment" for Iran's nuclear program, calling uranium enrichment allowance "one of the main failures" of the Obama-era nuclear deal. He emphasized any agreement with Iran must be brought before Congress for review and approval, and praised Trump for bringing Iran to its weakest point since 1979 through military strikes and blockade.
