US Treasury sanctions Hezbollah official and Lebanese politician Frangieh

The U.S. Treasury Department imposed personal sanctions against Mahmoud Qamati, deputy chairman of Hezbollah's Political Council, and Sleiman Frangieh, a prominent Maronite Christian politician who heads the Lebanese Marada Movement. Frangieh was Hezbollah's preferred candidate for President of Lebanon but was not elected.
