IDF strike in Gaza kills Hamas Shadow Unit member who held Israeli hostages
An IDF strike on the Abu Hasna family home in Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza killed three people, including Sabaei Abu Hasna, identified as a Hamas Shadow Unit member responsible for holding Israeli hostages. Abu Hasna was the Hamas operative whom former hostage Omri Shem Tov was forced to kiss on the forehead during a hostage release ceremony. Also killed in the strike were Ahmad Washah, a cameraman for Al Jazeera, and Abd al-Rahman Abu Gharkud, another alleged Hamas operative.
