Senator Graham predicts Trump will seize Strait of Hormuz if Iran deal fails
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham says he spent four and a half hours with President Trump on Friday and predicts what will happen if the Iran agreement fails. Graham states Trump will forcibly take control of the Strait of Hormuz, with the U.S. collecting fees from ships passing through to fund the operation. He says the administration will expand the Abraham Accords in 2026, bringing Saudi Arabia into the agreement. Graham warns that if Iran challenges U.S. control of the strait, "we will erase it," and if Iran attacks Israel through Hezbollah, the new policy will be to attack Iran directly.
