Hezbollah chief Qassem demands full Israeli withdrawal, praises Iran in Ashura speech
Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem, speaking at an Ashura commemoration, declared that Israel must withdraw from all Lebanese territories according to a defined timetable. He claimed the resistance succeeded despite paying a price, stating "the aggression failed to achieve its objectives." Qassem thanked Iran, calling it "among the most honorable and upright in the world." He demanded complete withdrawal without leaving "even a single centimeter" of Lebanese land, cessation of aggression on land, sea and air, Lebanese army deployment, prisoner releases, return of displaced residents, and reconstruction of destroyed areas.
