Hamas announces resignation of acting government head to enable Gaza administration transition

Hamas announces that Mohammad Al-Farra, chairman of the Government Emergency Committee and acting head of the governmental apparatus, has submitted his resignation and the committee will be dissolved to facilitate the work of the National Committee for the Administration of Gaza under the ceasefire agreement. Only employees in professional and technical positions will continue their duties to ensure service continuity. Hamas states all service employees are considered "state employees" prepared to operate under the National Committee's authority and comply with its directives.
