Shas opposes Communications Law, demands split vote on Channel 14 provisions

Shas party announces it cannot support the Communications Law after amendments protecting religious values were excluded from the final version. The party urges Minister Karhi to split the legislation and bring only sections on regulatory relief for new channels, including Channel 14, to a separate vote. Shas says it would support such a split bill and expects it to be brought forward soon.
