IDF eliminates Islamic Jihad weapons commander and Hamas sniper in Gaza strikes
The IDF struck targets in Gaza on Wednesday, eliminating Rashid Al-Qadhi, a commander in Islamic Jihad's Production Array responsible for weapons manufacturing, in southern Gaza Strip. Al-Qadhi played a central role in producing and supplying weapons to the terrorist organization's military wing for use against IDF troops and Israeli civilians. In a separate strike in northern Gaza, the IDF eliminated Abdullah Baha al-Din Razak Al-Souti, a sniper operative in Hamas' military wing. Both terrorists posed immediate threats to IDF troops in recent days and were struck from the air. The IDF said it took steps to mitigate civilian harm, including precise munitions and aerial surveillance.
