US Navy escorts 17 million barrels of oil through Strait of Hormuz

U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright reports that on Monday, the U.S. Navy escorted tankers carrying more than 17 million barrels of crude oil through the Strait of Hormuz. Wright noted this volume exceeds the amount that passed through the strait before the conflict began.
