US Secretary of State Rubio warns Iran, addresses NATO deployment concerns

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio made several key statements: He expects a response from Iran later today and hopes it will be a serious proposal. Rubio warned that if Iran threatens the US, "they will be bombed," stating "if you launch missiles at us and we identify you, it's obvious we will shoot at you. Only stupid countries don't shoot back when they're fired upon, and we are not a stupid country." He also raised concerns about NATO, saying a main reason for US membership is deploying American forces across Europe in emergencies, but "that is no longer the case now, at least for some NATO members."
