US Working to Establish Mechanism to Prevent Israel-Syria-Turkey Friction

US envoy Tom Barrack told Reuters the United States is working to establish a mechanism to prevent friction between Israel, Syria, and Turkey. Barrack revealed Turkey did not receive prior warning about Israeli strikes in Idlib last night and noticed the aircraft flying north toward its territory, which could have prompted a military response. "Fortunately, discretion prevented the situation from deteriorating further," Barrack stated.
