Yemeni leader warns against military changes near Bab al-Mandab strait

Yemeni Presidential Council chief Rashad al-Alimi declared that any attempt to alter the military situation near Bab al-Mandab will not be tolerated. He emphasized that protecting the Yemeni coast serves Yemeni, Arab, and international interests, noting that Bab al-Mandab is a vital international corridor and any threat to it extends to the Red Sea, the Suez Canal, and global trade.
