Ishay Ribo to perform at Harvard amidst pro-Palestinian opposition at music hall

Israeli singer Ishay Ribo will be performing before Jewish students at Harvard University. Pro-Palestinian protestors are calling for its cancellation.

Israeli singer Ishay Ribo has performed before many Jewish audiences throughout the US, and even appeared in Madison Square Garden a few months ago. Another performance is planned this evening (Tuesday) near Harvard University, but pro-Palestinian protestors are calling for boycotting and cancelling it.

At the hall where the performance is planned, workers called for a boycott and encouraged many to come out to protest it. Due to the boycott of the hall workers, outside workers were hired to manage the performance in the hall.

Social media posts against Ribo and Israel included claims that this is a fundraiser for “genocide.”
