Anti-Israel Convoy Sparks Fears of a New Front

After Greta's Flotilla: 1,500 people en route to storm Rafah, in massive "aid" convoy | WATCH

A massive land convoy dubbed "Al-Tsumud" is en route from Libya to Gaza’s Rafah crossing, following Greta Thunberg’s controversial flotilla.

“Al-Tsumud,” or “The Steadfast” in Hebrew, is a convoy operating on behalf of the “Gaza Freedom Flotilla Coalition.”

Following Greta’s flotilla, the “Al-Tsumud” convoy is currently in Tripoli, Libya, and plans to enter the Gaza Strip to deliver “humanitarian aid” including food, medicine, and medical equipment. However, it is clear that the true motives are anti-Israel, aimed at provoking, delegitimizing Israel’s military operations, and lifting the Israeli blockade on Gaza.

The convoy is expected to reach Rafah on Thursday if there are no delays, though the exact arrival time remains unclear at this stage.

Israel views such convoys as nothing but provocation and an illegitimate effort by anti-Israel activists to breach the Israeli blockade on Gaza, which is intended to prevent weapons smuggling to Hamas terrorists and to stop aid from ultimately reaching Hamas operatives.

According to estimates and Palestinian reports, the convoy includes approximately 1,500 participants.

Fuel station owners in Libya have reportedly said they will provide free fuel to all cars, buses, and trucks participating in the convoy.
