Airport chaos
Stranded in Ethiopia: 47 Argentine Haredis blocked en route to Israel
Babies, students, and families stuck at airport for second day following Houthi attack on Ben Gurion airport.

Ethiopian Orlines, like other international airlines, canceled its flights to Israel, causing an intolerable situation for 47 Haredi Jews from Argentina who made their way to Israel via Addis Ababa.
Since the cancellation of the benefits two days ago, the Argentine team has been stuck at the Ethiopian airport with a severe shortage of kosher food and other basic human conditions - just because of the cancellation of the flight.
According to media reports, there were several postponements of the flight after new dates were set repeatedly, and there is still no solution in sight.
If a solution is not found, passengers will have to think about how to observe Shabbat in a complex situation far from an organized Jewish community.
Meanwhile, Rabbi Eliyahu Hamara, who heads the Chief Rabbinate of Argentina, appealed to the airline to take into account the sensitive and complex situation of the families from Argentina, some of whom have small children, and to find a solution for them so that they can reach their destination in Israel without harming their religious rights.
As of 9:00 a.m. this morning (Thursday), the airline has informed passengers from Argentina that their flight to Israel is expected to depart in the coming hours, and passengers are hopeful that this will indeed happen and that there will be no delays.
