In an interview on Benny Teitlbaum's show on "Kan Heritage", Itzik Horn, the father of hostage Eitan Horn, shared his difficult feelings regarding the military activity in the Gaza Strip and the lack of information about the fate of the hostages: "It's clear. We all hear what the returned hostages are saying. It's already happened that because of bombings, hostages were killed.

"He also referred to the testimony of his son Yair, the returned hostage, who spoke about the difficult moments with Eitan: "They were in a tunnel, Yair had to carry Eitan. At some point, Eitan sat down and said - that's it, enough. I can't go on. And then Yair said - if we go, we go together."

Horn expressed deep concern but also a firm stance: "I don't understand the logic. And I also don't want any soldier to die to save the hostages in general - and especially my son."

Regarding the holiday of Shavuot, he said sorrowfully: "It wasn't a holiday. I didn't celebrate anything. The situation is unbearable – and no one updates me on what's happening."

He summed up his feelings in poignant words: "We are for everyone who can be taken out of hell – should be taken out. But who will decide who can and who can't? It's really a roller coaster... I wish this nightmare would end already."
