The Israel Defense Forces conducted a strike over the weekend in the Jabaliya area of northern Gaza, eliminating Abd al-Fattah Abu al-Ish, a Nukhba commander who infiltrated Israeli territory during the October 7 massacre

The same strike also killed Raid Adel Mohammed Alyan, another operative in Hamas's military wing, known as the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.

According to an IDF spokesperson, both men had recently been advancing terror plots targeting Israeli military forces and civilians. They were also working to rebuild Hamas's operational capabilities in violation of the ceasefire agreement. The strike was carried out to remove the immediate threat they posed.
