Firefighters issue evacuation notices for Neveh Ilan and Shoresh
As fires continue to rage in the Jerusalem area, some towns are being outright evacuated.
Israeli authorities have issued instructions for the following towns to evacuate: Neveh Ilan, Yad Hashmonah, Shoresh, and Protea today (Wednesday) as it continues to try and contain the wildfires raging in the Jerusalem and the Latrun area.
Israel expects to receive aid from other countries in the Eastern Mediterranean such as Greece, Cyprus, Italy, and Bulgaria, but is unlikely to receive assistance until tomorrow morning due to the difficulty of operating firefighting planes at night.
