A violent riot, during which extremists waved PLO flags and targeted police, took place yesterday (Tuesday) in Jerusalem.

After police attempted to detain suspects, protesters attacked police officers, blocked vehicles, threw debris and rocks, attempted to damage a police vehicle, yelled "Nazis" at the police, and set trash cans on fire, blocking the road.

One of the detainees presented the police with an "identity card" in which he is labeled as a "Jewish-Palestinian." It also states that the holder of the certificate believes in the "Torah of Israel" and is not subject to the power of the authority of the State.
