IDF Spokesperson: Haniyeh assassination was not from an Israeli drone or aircraft
At a press marking 300 days since the hostages were taken captive, IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari officially declared Mohammad Deif dead and said neither an aircraft nor a drone struck anyone aside from Fuad Shukr this week.

IDF Spokesperson Daniel Hagari gave a press conference just now (Thursday) marking 300 days since the hostages were taken captive. Hagari officially stated that Mohammad Deif was killed in the strike in Khan Yunis on July 13, and said the IDF is ready on the ground and in the air against any potential Iranian retaliation.
He did, however, say that Israel's defenses "are not hermetic" and citizens should therefore maintain alertness. While instructions by Rear Command have not changed, changes that are made would be sent to all citizens on every possible platform.
Answering a reporter's question, Hagari said that there was no strike in addition to the one on Fuad Shukr in Lebanon, either by an aircraft or a drone, and that this was the end of his comment on the matter.
