Sources speaking to Saudi news station al-Arabiya say that a Hamas mail courier may have informed the IDF of Deif's planned meeting with his subordinate Rafa'a Salameh.

Was Mohammad Deif eliminated thanks to an informant from inside Hamas?

That's what a report by Saudi channel al-Arabiya claims, according to Maariv.

Per the report, sources speaking with the channel said a Hamas mail courier not only revealed the location of a planned meeting between Deif and his subordinate Rafa'a Salameh, but also provided the IDF with a complete map of tunnels and weapons caches in Rafah.
