Hezbollah's plans against Israel post ceasefire

Dr. Fouad Abu Nader, the former commander of the Lebanese Forces, says that the ceasefire agreement in the north is a trap that the terrorist organization Hezbollah is preparing for Israel: "The situation is fundamentally different from 2006."

Dr. Fouad Abu Nader, the former commander of the Lebanese Forces, says that the ceasefire agreement in the north is a trap that the terrorist organization Hezbollah is preparing for Israel.

In an interview with the Saudi Al Hadath channel, reported on the 'Maariv' website, Abu Nader said: "The Iranians are advising Hezbollah to accept a ceasefire and retreat north of the Litani River, with the aim of reorganizing and rearming. The main concern is that Israel will indeed get rid of the immediate problem by redeploying UNIFIL and the Lebanese army, but Hezbollah will become stronger and return more organized."

According to Abu Nader, the current situation is different from 2006: "Hezbollah is speaking in a different tone this time." After the war in Syria, the involvement in Yemen, and the crisis with the Gulf states, especially Saudi Arabia, the situation is more complex.
