In another documentation, Julani continues the victory round and arrives at the Umayyad Mosque, Damascus's main mosque and one of the most important Islamic sites in the world. There he is greeted with great excitement by a crowd gathered there.

The rebels marked the moment as a historic milestone, symbolizing the change of power in the country. This round of victory, along with many celebrations throughout the capital, reflects the rebels' desire to reassert their control over the capital and restore a sense of sovereignty to the Syrian people.
