IDF forces have worked to take control of as much of the Syrian side of the border as possible to forestall any infiltrations or attacks on Israeli soil.

Last night (Sunday), forces of the 210th Division, including soldiers of the Paratroop Brigade, entered Syrian soil in order to create a "forward defense" of the Israel-Syrian border and a buffer zone against possible raids and attacks.

Watch (Source: IDF Spokesperson):

IDF engineering forces are also working to strengthen the physical barrier separating the two countries in the Golan Heights.

Meanwhile, engineering, infantry, and armored forces are spread out along the border with Syria in order to ensure proper regional defense throughout the area.
