Heartbreaking: The fighters who were killed in northern Gaza Strip uploaded a final video to their Instagram account last night (Sunday) in which they wrote: "Until tomorrow, let's make it the last day," and tagged their location, Jabalia.

Today, as mentioned, while they were on their way back home, they were killed.

We remind you that the IDF Spokesperson permitted the publication of the deaths of three fighters from the Shaked Battalion: Sergeant Barak Daniel Halpern, Corporal Omri Cohen, and Sergeant Ido Zhano, who were killed in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip.

Initial details indicate that while the unit was preparing to travel in an armoured truck that was supposed to take them outside the Gaza Strip to meet their families, an anti-tank missile was fired at the soldiers and hit them. As a result, 3 soldiers were killed and about 12 were injured, including a soldier from the Sky Rider Unit in the Artillery Corps and a reservist from the Shaked Battalion, Givati Brigade, who were seriously injured. The injured were evacuated to hospitals, and their families were notified.

After the incident, an attempt was made to target the terrorist cell that launched the anti-tank missile, and it is now being investigated whether it was indeed eliminated.

In the past 24 hours, 7 IDF soldiers fell, and alongside the three who died in the incident in Jabalia, the names of four additional IDF soldiers, who were members of the Hiram Battalion 9263, 226th Brigade, and fell in battle in southern Lebanon, were also released for publication: Maj. (Res.) Yevgeny Zinshtein, 43, from Zichron Yaakov; Capt. (Res.) Shaggy Yaakov Rubinstein, 31, from Lavie; Sgt. Maj. (Res.) Benjamin Destawe Negusa, 28, from Beit Shemesh; and Sgt. (Res.) Erez Ben Ephraim, 25, from Ramat Gan.
