Suspected nationalist arson in Samaria under investigation

The police opened an investigation this evening (Tuesday) following the arson of a wooden structure in Mitzpeh Evyatar, near the settlement of Evyatar in Samaria. The incident took place in the last few hours, no injuries were reported, but damage was caused to the building.

Police and military forces that arrived at the scene began a preliminary investigation and collected evidence from the scene of the incident. According to the initial suspicion, it was arson with a nationalist motive.

The investigation is ongoing, and the police are working to clarify the circumstances of the case and identify those involved.

Earlier today, a pedestrian was lightly injured in a vehicular attack in Bnei Brak. The terrorist, an Israeli Arab, was caught after a manhunt and arrested. A few hours earlier, a security guard at a police station in Karmiel was seriously injured, the background is still unclear, but the suspicion of terror is growing.
