Knesset Constitution Committee MK Simcha Rothman lit the sixth candle of Hanukkah at Mughrabi Bridge near the Temple Mount today (Monday), where he prayed that "this holiday bring with it open miracles for the Jewish People - protection and defense of our soldiers...and the return of all the hostages to our country."

He also said that "we are indeed waiting to merit renewing the work in the Holy Temple with God's help, but in this place we are dealing much with the important work of renewing aliyah to the Temple Mount which was done for generations and we should publicize this miracle."

Rothman ended by saying that "there is no greater merit than lighting the Hanukkah candles and sing Maoz Tsur...in such a holy and important place for the Jewish People across the generations."
