The hostage who was rescued from captivity eulogizes: "I completely broke down, this deserve to doesn't happen to anyone."

Farhan Al-Qadi, who was kidnapped to the Gaza Strip on October 7 and rescued by IDF forces last August, addressed the retrieval of the body of Youssef Al-Ziadna from Gaza this evening (Wednesday), alongside findings that raised concerns for the life of his son Hamza. In his remarks, he mentioned that Youssef was his childhood friend and called for immediate action to free the remaining hostages.

"After the list was published, we wanted and hoped it would be happy. I broke down, I completely broke down. We all cried at home," said Al-Qadi. "It's a neighbor, it's a childhood friend. It's very hard."

He also called for an agreement to release the remaining hostages from Hamas captivity in Gaza. "The war should have been stopped a long time ago and they should have been brought back. All of them, and quickly," he clarified. "I also set up a mourning tent. He was a friend to everyone, a father to everyone. He doesn't deserve this, and neither does anyone else."
