The Bat Yam Municipality announced the death of the resident of the city. 

The Bat Yam Municipality announced the death of the city's son, Sgt. (Res.) Alexander Fedorenko, who fell today in battle in Gaza.

The announcement read: "Alexander, 37, has lived in the city of Bat Yam since he immigrated to Israel at the age of 4, and since the outbreak of the war on October 7, he has served in the reserves almost continuously until his fall. Our heartfelt condolences to his wife Irina, his children Daniel and Tom and his entire dear family. We at the Bat Yam Municipality will accompany the family in their difficult time and will provide them with all the necessary assistance.

May your memory be blessed, Alexander, the hero of Israel."
