WATCH: KA-BOOM, BABY! IDF blows up more terror structures in Jenin
As part of Operation Iron Wall, the IDF scanned dozens of buildings in Jenin, and demolished the ones being used for terrorism.

As part of Operation Iron Wall, aimed at extirpating terrorism and terrorist infrastructures in the Jenin area and throughout northern Samaria, the IDF scanned hundreds of buildings in Jenin.
During these sweeps, the IDF discovered explosives and weapons laboratories, weapons storage areas, observation war rooms, and additional terrorist infrastructures.
They then prepared buildings identified as being used for terrorism for demolition and blew them up.
Watch (Source: IDF Spokesperson):
The IDF said that it would continue to operate in the area as long as necessary.
Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the Iron Wall operation was part of lessons learned from fighting in Gaza and elsewhere, per which "mowing the grass" by weakening terror groups but not destroying them was no longer an option. Now, Israel aims to entirely extirpate terrorist groups in a given area root and branch, then moving onto the next terrorist area.
Katz said that the Jenin operation was not a one-off operation but was indeed a "model" for similar operations throughout Judea and Samaria. Indeed, the IDF has already launched an operation in the Tulkarm area along the same lines as Iron Wall.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said of Iron Wall that it was part of a general effort to attack the "Iranian axis" wherever it presents itself to threaten Israel - whether in Judea and Samaria, Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, or elsewhere.
Thus far, the IDF has eliminated dozens of terrorists and wounded far more, as well as arrested multiple terror suspects and destroyed and confiscated a significant amount of weaponry and terrorist infrastructure in the area.
Major R., an engineering officer in the Menasheh Regional Brigade, said that "we, the IDF, will not allow our enemies to harm the safety of our forces in securing the State of Israel. We will remain here as long as it takes to achieve the goal."
Meanwhile, Israeli ministers have repeatedly said that the IDF intends to keep the IDF on the other side of the Syrian border for the foreseeable future due to the unstable situation in the country.
It will also remain on the Lebanese side of the border until February 18 to make sure the Lebanese Army deploys throughout the whole region and truly ensures Hezbollah stays out of it.
