Political source: Netanyahu-Trump meeting "friendliest ever"
A political source briefing Israeli media said that Prime Minister Netanyahu's meeting with Trump was "above our expectations and hopes."

A political source speaking to Israeli media said that the meeting between Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Donald Trump yesterday (Tuesday) was the friendliest such meeting in the history of the country.
The source said that "Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's visit with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House lasted five hours and began with Trump greeting the Prime Minister at the White House entrance. From there, they went to the Roosevelt Room where the Prime Minister signed the guest book in the presence of the delegations.
At this point, Prime Minister Netanyahu presented President Trump with a gold-plated beeper and a regular beeper as gifts, to which Trump responded: "That was a tremendous operation."
He then continued to describe the meeting between the two:
"From there, the Prime Minister and the American President moved to have a private face to face meeting. The American President sent warm regards to the Prime Minister's wife, Mrs. Sarah Netanyahu, and his son Yair, recounting how impressed he was with them during dinner at Mar-a-Lago, and how influenced he was by Mrs. Netanyahu regarding the need to act for the return of the hostages.
At the meeting's conclusion, they held a press conference, after which the American President took the Prime Minister on a tour of the White House's second floor to see President Lincoln's historic room."
"The source ended by describing the importance of the meeting and of continuing to maintain the current coalition and not forcing early elections:
"This was truly a historic visit with very significant implications for Israel's future.
"The American President presented the Prime Minister with a photo of them from the visit with a dedication and signature that read: "To Bibi, a great leader."
"Trump raised brilliant solutions to problems that have accompanied Israel since its establishment.
"The Prime Minister thanked President Trump for releasing weapons that were withheld from Israel during its war on seven fronts, as well as for the unconditional support for Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu.
"President Trump spoke during their conversation against the Deep State in Israel and the absurdity of dragging the Prime Minister to court hearings three times a week while he's managing a war that is changing the face of the Middle East.
"Today everyone understands that bringing down a right-wing government when Trump is U.S. President is national irresponsibility and a severe blow to the right-wing camp.
"There are now almost two years to lead historic changes, and we must not miss this opportunity."
