Guy Peleg: I investigated claims that Yair Netanyahu hit the Prime Minister- Here's what I found
There appears to be no end to the amount of imagined claims that can be thrown at the Prime Minister and his family, and no shame in making false claims either.
Leading Israeli journalist Guy Peleg has publicly addressed and dismissed allegations about Yair Netanyahu, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's son.
"I received numerous reports about such an alleged incident, but after thorough investigation, I must concur with Likud's statement that this is a malicious falsehood," Peleg stated.
The veteran reporter emphasized the gravity of spreading unsubstantiated claims. "Based on my investigations with key sources, this information is false," he said. "Causing such serious harm to the Netanyahu family without verified information - and there is no verified information, trust me - is inappropriate. Politicians allow themselves to say irresponsible things while they hide behind immunity."
Yair Netanyahu left Israel on April 23rd, 2023, at the height of the Judicial Reform protests. Since then, he has returned only once.
