Ofer Winter's Amcha Yisrael party has issued a sharp denial following claims from the Reservists and Economic party that it had approached them for a surplus-votes agreement.
"No approach whatsoever was made to the Reservists party on behalf of Amcha Yisrael," the party said in an official response. The statement went on to attack Yoaz Hendel and Yaron Zelekha personally: "Yoaz Hendel, who has moved through eight parties in the last decade and formed a government with Mansour Abbas, and Yaron Zelekha who is a Meretz supporter, will not preach morality to new people who have come to throw out the old and despised politics. They formed a government once with Mansour Abbas and they will do it again."
