Shortly before midnight, Israeli police received reports of a direct missile strike in a northern community within the Galilee region. The projectile, believed to be part of the latest Iranian barrage, caused severe damage to residential structures and resulted in multiple casualties.

Officers from the Israel Police’s Northern District, led by District Commander Maj. Gen. Meir Eliyahu, rushed to the scene alongside bomb disposal units and rescue forces. Police immediately worked to isolate the impact zone, while emergency teams carried out life-saving operations.

Several individuals were rescued from the rubble with varying degrees of injuries and transferred to nearby hospitals. Tragically, medical teams were forced to declare the deaths of two women in their 40s, along with two girls aged 13 and 20.

As of this hour, search and rescue operations are still ongoing to rule out the presence of additional trapped victims.

Israeli police have urged the public to avoid gathering near the impact sites, warning that doing so poses a risk to life and disrupts the work of emergency and bomb disposal teams. Citizens are asked to follow instructions from the Home Front Command.
