Channel 13 correspondent Aviad Glickman launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Thursday, following the Prime Minister's statement that numerous world leaders had requested meetings with him but his packed schedule allowed him to accommodate only some of the requests.
Glickman responded mockingly to the claim, highlighting Netanyahu's scheduled meeting with the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea. "According to Netanyahu's statement, leaders of many countries wanted to meet with him but due to a packed schedule he could only accommodate some of them," he wrote.
He added sarcastically: "Lucky for him that he managed to make room for the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea."
"Israel's Prime Minister Is Sidelined in the World"
Glickman didn't stop at criticizing the meeting list, arguing that the picture Netanyahu presents regarding demand for meetings with him does not reflect, in his view, the Prime Minister's actual standing on the international stage.
"Israel's Prime Minister is sidelined in the world and thinks we're all idiots," Glickman concluded.
Glickman did not specify which other leaders had requested meetings with Netanyahu or which requests the Prime Minister was unable to accommodate.
