The Israel Meteorological Service forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies today, Hoshana Rabbah, with local rain in parts of the country. Temperatures will begin rising tomorrow and reach seasonal norms by Simchas Torah.
Today will be partly cloudy to cloudy, with local rain expected in northern Israel and along the coastal plain. Isolated thunderstorms are possible in the north, and light drizzle may occur in the southern Negev. Temperatures will rise slightly in central and southern Israel but remain somewhat below seasonal norms.
Tonight, leil Shabbos and Yom Tov of Simchas Torah, skies will be partly cloudy with local rain expected mainly along the coastal plain.
On Simchas Torah, partly cloudy conditions will continue. Through midday, drizzle to light local rain is expected primarily in northern Israel. Temperatures will rise further and reach seasonal norms.
Sunday, Isru Chag, will be clear to partly cloudy. Temperatures will rise slightly in northern and central Israel.
Monday is forecast to be partly cloudy to cloudy with high-altitude cloud cover. Temperatures will drop slightly.
