"You Have Blood on Your Hands": Man Arrested for Heckling Albanese | WATCH
A memorial service held at Bondi Beach a week after the pogrom saw Prime Minister Albanese heckled for his lackluster response to the massacre. Video posted online indicates that one of the hecklers was arrested shortly thereafter.

Australian police arrested a man on Sunday night after he shouted “you have blood on your hands” at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese during a public vigil for the victims of the Bondi Beach massacre.
The incident occurred at the “Light over Darkness” vigil in Bondi, held to commemorate those killed in the December 14 attack. Albanese was heckled and booed at multiple points before, during and after the ceremony, according to witnesses at the event. One man shouted the accusation as the prime minister was present at the vigil, prompting police intervention.
Officers detained and arrested the man shortly afterward. Police have not alleged that the individual made threats or attempted physical violence, and there has been no indication that weapons were involved. Authorities have also not publicly detailed the specific charges under which the man was arrested.
The arrest comes amid heightened security and sensitivity following the Bondi massacre, which killed 15 people and injured dozens during a Hanukkah celebration. Law enforcement agencies across New South Wales have increased their presence at public gatherings, particularly events involving political leaders.
The incident has already drawn attention because it took place at a memorial event and involved a verbal accusation directed at the prime minister, rather than an act of disruption or violence. As of Monday, police had not released further details regarding the man’s identity, whether he would be charged, or when he would appear in court.
The Prime Minister’s Office has not commented on the arrest.
