Two Israel Air Force technicians are set to be charged with espionage for Iran after allegedly leaking sensitive military information, according to a report by KAN News.
The suspects, who served at Tel Nof Airbase and worked on F-15 fighter jets, are accused of transferring classified material during Operation Roaring Lion. The alleged leaks include engine diagrams and photographs identifying a flight instructor, in violation of military censorship rules.
According to the report, the technicians were also tasked with collecting information on former IDF chief Herzi Halevi and National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir.
Authorities are considering whether to upgrade the charges against one of the suspects from espionage to treason.
KAN also reported that eight additional soldiers stationed at the base are suspected of being aware of the activity but failing to report it.
Following the incident, the base commander convened personnel for a security briefing, telling them he had been summoned by the Shin Bet for questioning over the breach.
