IDF Destroys Iran's Elite Military University in Precision Strikes | WATCH
Israeli Air Force dismantles key IRGC research facilities • Wind tunnels, chemical labs, and missile development centers destroyed | The hidden military infrastructure (World News)

The Israeli Air Force has conducted a series of precision strikes against one of Iran's most critical military infrastructure complexes, the IDF confirmed Monday. Operating under intelligence guidance from Military Intelligence (Aman), Israeli jets targeted the Imam Hussein University compound, the primary academic institution of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps that serves as both a training center and emergency military asset for the Iranian regime.
Behind its civilian facade, the university has functioned as a hub for research and development of advanced weaponry, according to military sources. The institution's direct ties to the Revolutionary Guards and its involvement in advancing terror activities have prompted multiple nations to impose sanctions on the university and its senior officials.
The Commander Behind the Complex
The university is commanded by Mohammad Reza Hasani Shahanghar, a senior Revolutionary Guards officer holding a rank equivalent to major general. Shahanghar directs the institution's activities, oversees officer training programs, and maintains responsibility for building the regime's military human capital infrastructure.
Throughout the ongoing operation, the IDF struck the university's military infrastructure multiple times, aiming to inflict comprehensive damage on Iran's weapons production and development capabilities. The strikes represent part of a broader campaign targeting Iran's nuclear and military assets, which included attacks on the Arak heavy water complex and uranium processing facilities in previous operations.
Three Key Facilities Eliminated
Following the completion of recent strikes, the IDF disclosed details of the infrastructure destroyed at the Imam Hussein University compound. Among the primary targets were wind tunnels constructed on university grounds, which the Iranian regime utilized for testing and developing ballistic missiles.
The Imam Hussein Chemistry Center, which served the regime's chemical weapons research and development programs, was also destroyed in the operation. Additionally, Israeli forces eliminated the Technology and Engineering Center of the Mechanics and Development Group, described as a central complex used by Tehran for ballistic missile development and other advanced weapons systems.

The strikes form part of Israel's ongoing campaign against Iranian military capabilities, which IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir recently characterized as being "halfway through." In previous operations, Israeli forces targeted facilities at Malek Ashtar University in Tehran, another defense ministry institution sanctioned for its role in nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
The systematic dismantling of Iran's military research infrastructure continues as tensions escalate across the region, with the Revolutionary Guards maintaining threats of retaliation even as their operational capabilities face mounting degradation from sustained Israeli operations.
