BREAKING: 4 shot, Gunman neutralized in shooting at Miami car dealership

A shooting erupted early Thursday afternoon near Tropical Park in Miami-Dade, leaving at least four people injured and prompting a massive law enforcement response in an ongoing active shooter situation.

The incident occurred around 1:30 PM local time in an industrial area near SW 75th Avenue and SW 45th Street, close to an auto repair business identified as Priced Right Motors, Inc., according to multiple media outlets. The Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office confirmed that multiple victims were shot, with at least one suffering a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

A video circulating on social media captured the harrowing moment gunfire rang out. Authorities quickly issued a safety alert via X (formerly Twitter), warning the public to stay away from the area due to "heavy police activity on an active investigation." Roads between SW 70th–75th Avenue and SW 40th–48th Street were shut down as armored police units and emergency responders flooded the scene.

According to 7News Miami, the suspected gunman was shot and killed by law enforcement. The motive behind the attack is still unknown, and authorities have not yet released the identity of the shooter or the victims.

Witnesses described chaos as law enforcement and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue teams rushed to the site. One witness told Local 10 News that four individuals were struck during the initial exchange of gunfire.
